We are excited to share that the PerSEAve team has been selected to participate in Impresa Campus Unifi 2026, the University of Florence's flagship programme for young academic entrepreneurship, now in its twenty-first edition.
What is Impresa Campus?
Impresa Campus is a free, four-month training and mentoring programme promoted by the University of Florence, with the collaboration of the Fondazione per la Ricerca e l'Innovazione and the support of the Fondazione CR Firenze. It is designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among graduates, PhD students, postdocs, and researchers, providing them with practical tools to turn innovative ideas into viable ventures.
Participants work in teams on real projects, covering key areas such as team building, entrepreneurial mindset, business modelling, market validation, and effective communication. Each team is also paired with a senior manager from Federmanager Toscana, who provides hands-on guidance throughout the journey. The most promising projects go on to present at the grand finale, held in the Aula Magna of the University of Florence.
What this means for PerSEAve
Being selected for Impresa Campus is an important milestone for us. It gives the PerSEAve team access to structured mentorship, a network of entrepreneurs and investors, and a rigorous framework to sharpen our go-to-market strategy for the marine data processing platform we are building.
Over the coming months, we will be working intensively on validating our business model, refining our value proposition, and stress-testing our assumptions with the support of experienced managers and the wider Unifi innovation ecosystem. We look forward to sharing more updates as the programme progresses.
